LeBron’s triple-double, he talks about game winner (VIDEOS)

May 23, 2013, 10:03 AM EDT

It’s good to have the best player on the planet on your team.

At the end of the day that was the reason the Miami Heat are up 1-0 — as great as Paul George was for Indiana, the Miami Heat have LeBron James. From the very start LeBron was knocking down jumpers from the wing and defensively doing things like blocking Roy Hibbert at the rim. He finished the game with 30 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

Below, he talks about hitting his game-winning lay-up.

Had he made most of his free throws i would call it a masterful performance… then again had he made his free throws (along with other members of the HEAT) there wouldn’t have been the heroic, dramatic finish.

Never the less… it was aN MVP performance! LET’S GO HEAT!!!!

    Can’t wait for Friday!!

He made 4 out of 7 FT’s, so you can call his performance “masterful”.

Wow. Hate much? You are gonna criticize a triple-double over that? I

Dude, listen I am a HUGE Heat fan… HUGE!! I was there last night… will be there on tomorrow night, in fact i will be there the rest of the way. I said it was an MVP performance knucklehead… it just wasn’t masertful… he also had 4 turnovers.

17 lead changes and 18 ties. Just a great game to watch.

Lots of bad calls, and too many calls, period.
It wasn’t really a fun game to watch, but can’t complain about the results!

totally agree with you on this… the refs handicapped the game by calling too many fouls on both teams… very inconsistent in their calls in what was and wasn’t a foul too. The game didn’t get fluid until the last 10 minutes… so the last 5 of regulation and the OT.

“From the Elias Sports Bureau: Since LeBron James came into the league in 2003-04, nobody in the NBA has made more game-tying and go-ahead shots in the final 24 seconds of playoff games than LeBron, who is 7-of-16 on those shots. His 43.8 field-goal percentage on those clutch shots ranks the best in the NBA since his rookie season among players with at least 10 attempts.” Who would’ve thunk it? #clutch #mythbusters #themoreyouknow

Sticking to my prediction: Pacers in 6!

    • hehateme2 - May 23, 2013 at 3:45 PM

You’re delusional. The pacers have no offense and can’t hope that the HEAT shooters are cold every night. Expect several blow outs by the HEAT.
