PBT Extra: Talking healthy Bulls, bright future in Memphis

Monday night’s Heat win in Chicago wasn’t fun for anyone. Not Bulls fans, obviously, who really had nothing to cheer for after the team opened the game 1-of-12 shooting. Heat fans will take the win but it wasn’t pretty, and for those of us who are just fans of the game that wasn’t enjoyable to watch.

But the wise Kay Adams asks what if the Bulls were healthy? I want that someday — Derrick Rose, Luol Deng, a non-gimpy Joakim Noah against LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. This is two playoffs in a row we’ve been denied that matchup, hopefully next year we get it.

Then Kay and I discuss Dwyane Wade’s wardrobe choices and how bright the future looks in Memphis. To steal the Blake Griffin line while putting on my aviator sunglasses, “very bright.”

Very good article. As much as Heat and Bulls fans love to talk trash to each other, we do it because of the desire to beat the best. The Heat, on paper, and via their sparkling O’Brien Trophy from last year (and probably again this year) are the best.

How many players have the Heat developed on that team?

      Cole, Chalmers, Haslam, and Wade.

You could make the argument that Lebron’s developed quite a bit in Miami as well.

Good to see ya coming around Kurt. :) And as much as I dislike Blake Griffin, I do like the commercial reference. /nod. Must close out OKC. 😛

well said but it really also points out the problems with the Nets in that they should never have lost to the Bulls. With Rose back and at full speed Bulls still seem to be 1 player short of givng the Heat a run for the money.
