LeBron James’ monster dunk off turnover sums up Heat’s night (VIDEO)

May 13, 2013, 11:27 PM EST

This pretty much sums up Monday night for the Bulls.

Nate Robinson can’t handle the aggressive trap the Heat have put on him (for a couple of games now), the Heat steal the ball and on the fast break is on.

Then there is LeBron James to finish.

Miami went on to win this game handily because of plays like this and now it now leads the series 3-1. Nate Robinson had a big Game 1 but once the defense has focused on him Robinson has shot 0-of-12.

And the statistic that sums up the Bulls night:

    5 Bulls players attempted 3s.

    4 combined for 0 for 14.
    1 went 2 for 3.

The only guy who was able to hit a 3-pointer? Rip Hamilton, the most well-rested Bulls player who played tonight.

The Heat’s defense was on-point in their rotations, so they deserve a lot of the credit for the Bulls poor shooting. However, the “dead legs” effect was pretty apparent. When Bellinelli and Robinson air-ball uncontested 3-pointers, that’s a sign of a tired team.

Another fun statistic: The Bullls’ point guards (Robinson and Teague) combined to score 0 points for the Bulls and 2 points* for the Heat.

*That play was not necessarily the rookie’s fault – that was a freak tip-in that went Miami’s way.

So, I guess the Bulls only motivation to compete was to play ghetto- thug ball !

Since they now know the Heat won’t back down and have been giving them a stiff dose of their own “tough-guy” medicine…..now they no longer want to play.

Looks as if the Heat ‘Itch Slapped them, took their ball and sent them home……ahahahaha

Why are the LBJ/ Heat haters so quiet tonight? You know if Miami would’ve lost, there would be idiots typing stupid comments nonstop, “LBJ is this and LBJ is that”

Keep talking. Don’t get quiet now. Bulls looked good game 1. Now it’s just all bad.

Better luck next year I guess. Tell Nazr to shove LBJ again like a heathen. Hahaha. Now they’re one game away from being eliminated.

    Hahaha

You say this like the Bulls were supposed to beat the Heat this year, while lacking Luol Deng, Derrick Rose, and Kirk Hinrich. Quite smug of you.

It’s crazy how quickly Lebron gets down the court. He can get the ball at half-court in full stride, take one dribble, maybe 3 steps total, and dunk the ball.

He may not be the absolute fastest pure sprinter in the league, but he’s definitely the fastest scoring the ball on the break

    Do you take basketball serious?

    • casualcommenter - May 14, 2013 at 1:51 AM

      No.

This is a blog called, “ProBasketball Talk,” so clearly, nobody here is that interested in basketball.

Try “ProHockey Talk.” I hear the guys over there are the ones who like basketball.
