Derek Fisher fined for his role in double flop against the Rockets (VIDEO)

May 6, 2013, 6:33 PM EDT

Derek Fisher has been fined $5,000 for violating the league’s anti-flopping rules, it was announced on Monday.

The play in question occurred during the second quarter of the Rockets’ win over the Thunder in Game 5 of their first round playoff series.

This was the hilarious “double flop” achieved in perfect synchronization by both Fisher and Kevin Martin, but Martin, for reasons unknown, came away unscathed by the league office.

Good for Fisher, they should hand out more fines for flopping.

Too bad Fisher was able to make an entire career out of flopping.
