Best NBA flops of season set to operatic score

Apr 25, 2013, 4:57 PM EDT

Slate nailed it.

This was their creation, the most egregious flops of the NBA season set to music.

So far nobody has been fined for flopping in the NBA playoffs — first offense is $5,000 — but give it time. As the games get serious so will the urge for guys to sell the call.

Hat tip to Lang at the All Ball blog (at for finding this.

… And the “Ginobili” (given to the leagues top flopper) goes to…

    Chris Paul.

Just epic flopping right there CP3.

I’d like to point out that no Spurs were featured floppers in this video and that they long ago passed the torch as the top floppers in the league.

I’d also like to propose calling this faux-ward the “Divac,” in honor of the cigarette smoking Yugoslavian who was a true pioneer in the art of Euro-style flopping in the NBA.

I have THREE VIDEOS ON MY PHONE THAT I RECORDED MYSELF from Game 1 of the LAL vs. SAS series of Neal, Splitter and Bonner flopping. And that wasn’t even the half of it, or else I would have missed most of the second half trying to record them all.

You don’t really want to pull that line.

Hey Laker troll, no one believes you or cares. Your team has been handled so easily by the Spurs, they wouldn’t need to flop to beat your team even if they could get away with it.

CP3 may be a good player and good person, but he is a baby on the court
