Jerry Stackhouse sings national anthem before playing in Nets’ Game 1 win over Bulls (VIDEO)

Apr 21, 2013, 9:30 AM EDT

Jerry Stackhouse didn’t have a lot to do with the Nets’ crushing of the Bulls on Saturday, playing just 12 minutes while going 0-for-3 from the field to finish with zero points and two rebounds.

He did plenty for his team before the game, however, when he took the microphone at center court and sang the national anthem.

Pretty above average job, all things considered. But we shouldn’t be surprised, as this wasn’t his first rodeo — Stackhouse did this once before, while he was a member of the Dallas Mavericks back in 2007.
