Ryan Hollins ejected for placing headlock on Goran Dragic (VIDEO)

Apr 4, 2013, 8:40 AM EDT

Often times when a play like this occurs, it’s a result of a lot of little things that have gone on through the course of a game that finally have come to a boiling point for a particular player.

It’s just hard to see that being the case here, considering that Ryan Hollins played all of nine minutes off the bench at the center position in this one, while Goran Dragic starts at point guard — meaning, the two players would have had very little (if any) previous interaction.

With the Clippers leading the Suns by 25 points and under nine minutes remaining, Hollins and Dragic somehow got tangled up after a made basket. Hollins had Dragic in a headlock of sorts, and well after the referee blew the whistle and was trying to get the players separated, Hollins held on, and received a flagrant two foul and an ejection for his ridiculous actions.

This guy is real trash. He kicked Jeremy Lin in February. Picks on point guards

Second that . He needs a 10 game sit down and a huge fine on top.And some Honey Nutting by KG.

Alright, so they got tangled up and then Dragic holds onto Hollins’ arm.
I think Dragic wanted to make that look like more than it was.

This guys Hollins is just making a fool out of himself. He cant even play and he looks like a douche, according to all those non sportsmanlike plays.

Said it before, when he pulled a similar stunt a few weeks ago — this dude tries to play the tough guy role all too often. He’s soft. He goes and spends time in Boston and thinks he’s tough because he was with KG. Then, like KG, always goes after the smallest guy on the court, who oftentimes did nothing to begin with. I have never liked Hollins. He’s a hack. Literally and figuratively.

Hollins is a punk who I remember trying to get tough with Tim Duncan a couple years ago, so I loved it when Timmy dunked on his bench-riding ass a few games back (while Hollins shoved him to boot). Not sure why this talentless tool is still on anyone’s payroll.

    Hollins is an assclown.
