Bulls’ Jimmy Butler dunks all over Chris Bosh (VIDEO)

Mar 28, 2013, 11:47 AM EDT

This was just one of the exclamation points from the Bulls win over Miami.

In the third quarter Luol Deng was bringing the ball up on the break, Shane Battier cut off the drive and Deng went with the alley-oop pass and Jimmy Butler finished it — all over Chris Bosh.

The crowd at the United Center ate it up — for 27 games it felt like the Heat had been doing this to everyone else. In some cases they had. This was a little bit of payback. And a sweet play.

He got really lucky that went in. Didn’t catch it cleanly at all.

LOL not sure why you got so many thumbs down….its not like you lied….people on here confuse me…….

      • nycalldayz - Mar 28, 2013 at 12:27 PM

He got dunked on! Accept the reality of opposing players and teams making highlight plays against the Heat. Christ u Heat/Lebron fans are odd.

      • truehooper1421 - Mar 28, 2013 at 12:41 PM

He got dunked on yes. All that was said was that he didn’t catch it cleanly which he didn’t. I hate the Heat and I got so excited on that play because I wanted the Bulls to win. But, if Butler would have caught it clean that would be one of the season’s top highlights.

      • reesesteel23 - Mar 28, 2013 at 12:45 PM

…….Nobody is denying that he got dunked on man…….whats your beef?

      • paleihe - Mar 28, 2013 at 1:56 PM

At what point in my post did I say Bosh didn’t get dunked on? It wasn’t a clean catch and the ball went around in the rim. How is that even debatable?

Watch the video starting at 26 seconds in and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

For your reference, I’m not a Heat fan.

      • gmsingh - Mar 28, 2013 at 4:13 PM

And yet, queerly, Bosh, completely missed a dunk in the exact same game.

    • truehooper1421 - Mar 28, 2013 at 12:23 PM

He really didn’t. That dunk would have been so much better if he caught it clean. I don’t see why you are gtting thumbs down for that comment.

  2. mikejd12 - Mar 28, 2013 at 12:28 PM

Great play but he did get lucky it even when in….it was ugly

    • reesesteel23 - Mar 28, 2013 at 12:46 PM

Dont say that Mike!….you may get attacked

      • paleihe - Mar 28, 2013 at 2:18 PM

I’m giving you a thumbs down for pointing out the obvious!

  3. divan22 - Mar 28, 2013 at 12:55 PM

Nice play by the youngster, but how about some consistency from the refs?

If LeBron’s “reaction” to posterizing Jason Terry deserved a T, why didn’t Butler get one last night?

    • somekat - Mar 28, 2013 at 1:12 PM

Because he wasn’t looking at bosh, or any other heat players when he did it

the Tech Lebron got was for showing up an opponent, not celebrating. There is a difference

  4. themars211 - Mar 28, 2013 at 1:17 PM

Hey to you Heat fans that was talking about Lebrons dunk on Jason Terry……Jimmy Butler putting his nuts on the back of Chris Bosh neck……now thats a dunk to stare down somebody about….dude had at least 5 inches on Butler…lol

  5. dangernearing - Mar 28, 2013 at 1:37 PM

BWahaha! Reas Nate’s lips. Sums up the Heat on a whole.

  6. kingabdi23 - Mar 28, 2013 at 1:42 PM

Jimmy butler is a man to watch.

  7. ronaldjones - Mar 28, 2013 at 2:25 PM

Congrats to Jimmy Butler on getting his 15 seconds of fame. He can now resume his mediocre career

    • chicitybulls - Mar 28, 2013 at 3:10 PM

Jeez you’ve had a negative comment in every blog post about this game that you’ve commented on. The heat lost. The Bulls won. Give them credit. It’s no commentary on the whole season. You really have a problem dont you. And Jimmy is only in his second year and has made huge strides and is still developing. To call his career mediocre at this stage….well says more about you than it does him. My suggestion is you get out of your fishbowl and try watching all of the teams before you make a intelligent statement about someone. Alas, maybe intelligence is something that’s not within you.

    • lmoneyfresh - Mar 28, 2013 at 3:18 PM

You obviously have no clue. In his starts this season he’s averaged 15.5 points, 8.2 rebounds. He actually looks like he could be the bulls 2/3 going forward.

    • circuscivics - Mar 28, 2013 at 4:23 PM

What are you doing with your life. His mediocre career is probably 10 x’s more successful than yours.

My apologies for calling Butler mediocre. I didn’t realize he’s a career 5.8 ppg. By Bulls standards, that’s actually quite prolific.

    • dangernearing - Mar 28, 2013 at 9:00 PM

      You mad bro?

  9. stayhigh_247 - Mar 28, 2013 at 5:41 PM

Stacey King should be the highest paid NBA announcers, he gets hyped like a fan! Most ex players sound boring as hell when they call games.

    • badintent - Mar 29, 2013 at 12:21 AM

Stacy King, Mr.Potential. I liked his game in College. Did he also have a practice fight with MJ ? Seems MJ had it with all the Bigs.Parish, Cartwright, etc.

Wahhhhhh said the bandwagon heat fan

Don’t mind ronaldjones, he just doesn’t know what to do with himself. It’s confusing when you jump on a teams bandwagon for one player and then that player gets punked on national TV.
