Watch Denver’s dramatic comeback to keep streak alive (VIDEO)

Mar 22, 2013, 8:42 AM EDT

The Nuggets know drama. Down 7 points inside two minutes and 5 points with :14 left the Nuggets found a way to pull it out and extend the streak to 14.

They did it with the three ball and key free throws. They also did it because the 76ers helped them out. A lot. But the Nuggets made the plays they had to — particularly Corey Brewer, who had Denver’s final six points to make up that deficit quickly.

That’s as dramatic an ending as you will see all weekend.

Corey Brewer is great. My favorite memory of him is an “and-1″ he made falling on his back that put the gators up 4 with 30 seconds left to beat Georgetown in the sweet 16 in ’05. I nought he would be more consistent as a pro.

Brewer’s a flopper, and he didn’t disappoint here. At most, he was tapped on the wrist, but he fell like Chaplin going for Pratfall of the Year.

Do replays show if Brewer was actually hit? The one I saw was blurry.

Are you kidding? You should watch a better replay than. He sold it, but was obviously hit across the arm. Also, the ball never lies.

Brewer flops from time to time but this was a legit call. Can’t believe he made all 3 FTs–he’s only a 67%er at the line…

Take into consideration the fact that it was the end of the game where no refs want to call a foul and you have to give Brewer credit for emphasizing the fact that he did indeed get fouled.
