In case you missed it, Nate Robinson threw one down Thursday (VIDEO)

Mar 22, 2013, 3:09 PM EDT

Nate Robinson can still get up and throw it down. I mean, we knew he could dunk — he won the Dunk Contest crown a couple times — but he’s getting older and he’s never been as big an in-game dunker.

But he threw a big one down Thursday in the fourth quarter against Portland. He’s still got plenty of hops, in case you were curious.

Yes, the Blazers won the game. It was in basically garbage time. So what? (People love to point out in comments/on twitter that it happened in a losing cause, as if that somehow diminishes the athleticism. It’s a strange obsession. Just enjoy the play for what it is and relax.)

Derrick Rose is checking the tape to see if Robinson dunked off his left foot.

Down by 21pts and still flamboyant

hmm showboating and striking a pose while down 21 pts? WEIRD.

You two clowns couldn’t throw it down if you jumped off a trampoline, so stop your hating.

Please son I am 6’1 !!! Nate would give up a lil of his vertical for a couple inches in height.

Nate is likely playing for his next contract and needs to do anything he can to impress teams that might be interested next season. Hard to knock the guy for that.

Being 5’9″ myself I can fully appreciate the athletic ability required to do this. I would love to jump like that. I don’t really like the basketball player but I can still like the feat.

The best part is when Leonard decides he doesn’t want to become a poster and just moves out of the way.

Should he not dunk there because his team is down? C’mon people

Wow,athleticism….maybe they should just do away with the hoop and ball and see who jumps highest and runs fastest….
