Highlights of Nuggets carving up Thunder defense (VIDEO)

Mar 20, 2013, 8:42 AM EDT

That would be 13 wins in a row for the Nuggets, and we don’t want that streak to get lost in the news about that other streak. So, here is some video of the Nuggets knocking down shots and having their way with the Thunder defense Tuesday.

Ty Lawson had another good game for Denver and in the fourth quarter the birthday boy Andre Miller (now 37) was hitting big shot after big shot. Kevin Durant pushed the Thunder to come back but every time Miller and the Nuggets had an answer.

This was a big win for Denver’s psyche. It doesn’t mean Denver would win a playoff series, but it means they believe they can and that is huge.

If I did not live in Denver I would be a fan of, and watch this team. This crew is making a lot of people proud!

I think he’s saying that if he did not live in Denver he would still be a fan.

The Nuggets and Spurs are great for basketball, deep, selfless teams without much flash but enough weaponary to beat you down. West playoffs are gonna be a crazy knock em down brawl…to get the right to face the best player on the planet. Almost doesn’t seem fair.

Totally agree. The West will be worn out by the time whomever reaches the finals. Miami will be on cruise control during the entire Eastern run. The only hope is the Nuggets and their home court advantage!

I gotta admit, I’m pretty surprised the Nuggets are this good. They’re definitely contenders and very fun to watch!

Damn these nuggets are fun to watch!! and in retrospect it almost makes me thankful Melo demanded his way to NYC.

It is very true that this win will not mean much come playoffs, but damn its gives us some confidence going down the stretch.

Finally, got to give a shout out to the big man Koufos- hard to overstate his improvement and impact on the floor this year…. If Mcgee follows his path… Watch Out!
