They finally got rid of the bad contracts(Salmons, Maggette, Bogut, Udrih). They are building a good solid young core in Jennings, Sanders, Ilysova, and Mbah A Moute. Now they go ahead and do something like this? Really a head scratcher.

I thought for sure the Redick trade was for an expiring contract to free up some cap space freedom….but I guess I wasn’t really a fan of the Bucks trading away Tobias Harris in the first place. Would have been nice to give him any minutes at all and see what they had before they traded him away for a spot up shooter who is bad defensively. They still don’t have anyone to offer offense from the small forward position.

Reddick proved that he can play and can be a starter in this league and I think he’ll get a slightly better deal if he hits the open market.
