Shocking…..please. Was there really any doubt. Just something for Brett to squeeze a few more Kobe stories out of. I’m sure they’ll be an in game article, then another after the game, and then one more after that…..tonight. You would think Kobe and the Lakers were on a 20 game win streak or something. How about covering the teams that are going to matter in the post season!

For all the crying and gnashing of teeth, his ankle tweak was as bad as it looked if you watched the replay 1 or 1,000,000 times (roughly 1/4 of the number of times it has been shown on espn since it happened). Not a big deal. The fact that there was such an uproar and discussion of suspension for that “dirty” play shows just how soft these NBA clowns are.

Wow! Amazing. When the game was in the balance, it was such a horrible foul, Dahntay Jones should have been suspended because, you know, his dirty play put Kobe out “indefinitely”. What a load of crap. All of sudden he’s healthy enough to start? Yeah, give him an Oscar. Great acting job. No wonder so many people hate him.

ISO injured Kobe vs. the best defense in the league. Wonderful. As a Laker fan I actually wanted Kobe to miss the game to see how they look as a team not just 1+4.

man, the guy is something else. Its like he doesn’t have a pain threshold.

That said, if the injury limits his effectiveness, I’d prefer for him to sit. If he comes out cold and slow (especially defensively), D’Antoni needs to sit him.
