Teague out, Smith doubtful for Hawks vs. Lakers Wednesday

Looks like the Lakers are catching a break.

Facing the Hawks on the second night of a back-to-back (the Hawks are on one, too) Los Angeles is catching Atlanta without starting point guard Jeff Teague and the Hawks also may be without forward Josh Smith.

Teague sprained his ankle in Tuesday night’s game.

Smith apparently tweaked his left knee in that same game against the Heat and may rest as a precaution. As much as the Lakers are a “big” game it doesn’t matter as much as getting healthy for the playoffs. Smith playing on a tweaked knee would increase the chance something more severe would happen.

The Lakers need wins and will take the help anywhere they can find it.

    Thanks for another W atl.
It’s not The Lakers fault that the Eastern Conference only has 1 good team.

I also love the Lakers, but this team is old, coming off a back to back, and bad on the road. Not every team is great, but all teams are capable of beating each other. Really the biggest break the Lakers got tonight was the Jazz play the Thunder.

Lakers were tired coming off a back-to-back and overlooked the Hawks. Like you said though, the Jazz playing the Thunder really helps.

Lmao at this idiot! Hahahaha, yeah I’m sure the atl says your welcome back atcha lol! YOUR WELCOME for the W from your beloved inept Lakers, Laker fans are so STUPID believing your team is destined for greatness because they’ve won 3 in a row versus three pitiful teams (25 point comeback from the Hornets, overtime comeback vs the Raptors & the 2nd worst team in the league Orlando last night), woohoo! Very impressive! This latest Lakers loss just puts these stupid fans back in their place & goes to show exactly what your team is in store for if theyre able to hold onto the 8th seed, they gonna be swept right back to the house regardless if its the Spurs or Thunder. This team ain’t destined for jack this season or the next! Couldn’t even beat a Hawks team with some of they key players out, lmao!

Thanks for the W LA. It’s not the Hawks fault the Lakers are an incredibly overrated team. And Kobe, about that ankle…

This Wong be an easy win, lakers still have to play defense and make shots…so far, hawks are up at the half.
