4) Pau’s brother Marc is playing well for the Grizzlies, so the “free” comment is pretty stupid. The NBA stopped the Lakers from getting Chris Paul so the whole “trades other teams were not permitted to complete” makes very little sense. Especially when you bother to note that what New Orleans would have gotten via the Lakers trade was a better deal than what they ended up with via the Clippers.
