I will respond the same way I did when you posted the same thing a couple of days ago in another blog on this site (edited of course).
"Mr Wrong 212 is more like it. The Nuggets East (a.k.a. Knicks) players you speak of were some of the worst locker room guys and certainly no role models for good sportsmanship, teammates, or citizenry. Carmelo is one of the most gifted scores in the league, but I like the makeup of our team right now much better and feel more optimistic about our chances this year and for the next few. It had to be hard for a coach like Karl when a couple of your most gifted athletes (Melo, Kenyon and J.R.) decide they know more about the game than someone with Karl’s pedigree (1100+ wins). Good luck to the Knicks and Woodson, but Karl finally got the character guys it takes to win with a team game."
I would consider it a compliment that Melo, Kenyon and JR can't stand him...means they STILL don't get the fact it is a team game.

Yea George Karl is a terrible coach. Over 1,100± wins and almost 500 with Denver alone. The Nuggets were terrible before he took over. Gary Payton has said he was his favorite coach of all time

Comparing winning percentage of the teams doesn't really provide an accurate analysis of the trade. Given that the Nuggets were already better than the Knicks when the trade took place. Personally, I think you should compare the teams to themselves before and after. The Knicks are without a doubt better, especially given Amare's injuries. Amare gets hurt with the cast they had pre-Melo you're talking lottery.

The Nuggets are probably are better as well but it is harder to tell because they are deeper but they didn't get anyone better than Melo. Like Lawson, said they're really in the same place before and after.

Given that I think the trade is a win-win for both team, which makes sense since neither team could bank on Melo staying or going since the risk was to great. The Knicks got better and the Nuggets stayed where they were and avoided a situation where Melo walks and they end up in the lottery. Which despite what experts claim isn't a good thing. Look at the Cavs, LeBron left three years ago and they haven't made the playoffs since.

Why Karl is considered a player friendly coach is a complete mystery? I think you can count on one finger the players that enjoyed playing for him.

He is always taking potshots at his current or former players even when they don't make a lick of sense. Take that quote above. To imply that a guy shouldn't get max money, when you're boss was prepared to give him more money than he got from the other owner is just absurd.

And of course you co-sign his (constant, elsewhere as well) pot shots at Kobe and Melo. When Karl wins a title, his childish taunts will hold more weight. Phil can do this. You can't, George.
