JaVale McGee dunks on Hamed Haddadi, bows to him afterward (VIDEO)

Mar 12, 2013, 8:40 AM EDT

One never knows exactly what goes through the mind of JaVale McGee on the court, but whatever it is, it makes for some entertaining highlights.

This ridiculous one-handed finish off of the alley-oop pass from Corey Brewer was Clipper-like in both the amount of hangtime, as well as the complete posterization of his defender, Hamed Haddadi.

But the bow to him afterward puts the icing on the cake, and as is always the case with JaVale, we’ll be left alone in the dark to wonder to ourselves what the heck that was all about.

The bow might even have racist undertones. Just saying.

Nice play but the bow was stupid, so did his other theatrics like salute, “film rolling”…etc.

    • broncobeta - Mar 12, 2013 at 4:22 PM

      If it was Yao Ming.

      • dirtydavis - Mar 12, 2013 at 7:17 PM

Still racist. There was no need for that. Just saying

  8. dko83 - Mar 12, 2013 at 9:53 PM

Please tell me how it’s racist? There is no bowing in that culture… Maybe it was INTENDED to be racist and Javale is just dumb, but I doubt it…

  9. tripthoughfan - Mar 12, 2013 at 11:23 AM

intent does not usually entail simultaneous momentum w/ both arms (reduces physical impact). thus i think he didn’t really mean it :=(
