Basically, the Lakers either need

a) Stern’s intervention
b) Kobe to average 45-10-7, while defending both the other teams best player and its PG to save Nash from getting torched
c) The teams in front of them die before their series, forcing a forfeit.

So what are the downfall for making the playoffs? As a Laker fan I hope they make the playoffs. The only downfall I can see that Jimmie will decide to keep D’Antoni.
