Woody is a good coach, and he may be thinking playoffs. When STAT and Melo are on the floor together, the Knicks are tough to defend because the weak side is the most dangerous side. If that’s the case, why give teams the opportunity to figure it out during the regular season? Especially considering the fact that STAT was injured early on. It wouldn’t surprise me if Woody starts those two come playoff time.

It’s his defense. He is a sieve on the interior. But Coach HAS to play him with Melo and Tyson, because it creates matchup nightmares. Our close-game lineup (barring fouls) should be Felton, JR, Melo, Bam Bam and Tyson. Like Coach said pregame last night, “Maybe we should make teams match up to US, instead of going small and matching up with them, as we’ve been doing.”

One of the first times I’ve agreed with you. Amare is playing well but Woodson refuses to give him minutes. I’m not sure what he’s afraid of but I kept expecting Amare to come in and beat the Heat inside and he never did.

Amazing what happens when Woodson plays Amare down the stretch, instead of benching him in the 4th quarter. He was 5-7 against the Heat and scoring at will inside, yet Woodson benches him in the final 8 minutes. Doesn’t make sense

Knicks comeback kings! Like they were able to come back from a 16 point lead over the Heat and lose!
