When has Wall ever been great? He’s been below average his entire NBA career. People just assumed he would improve because he was so young and was highly recruited out of high school, but he has yet to get any better. Injuries and poor work ethic have doomed his NBA career.

It’s actually true…Well if you add less turnovers into it as well. He’s not the superstar we all thought he was. But he doesn’t suck either. It’s funny how fans go from Great to Terrible with no in between. He’s a good player.

I know John Wall’s shooting is still his major flaw in his game, but fans aren’t looking at all the other aspects he brings: he’s a great facilitator, he’s a great defender (on-ball is good and he’s the best shot-blocking PG in the league, dude can get 2 or 3 blocks in a game), and he’s arguably the fastest guy in the league, he’s a problem in transition. John Calipari already said how Wall needs for his jumper just to be respectable, not even automatic (alas Derrick Rose), and he’ll be viewed as an elite PG. I’ll just leave you all with Magic Johnson’s quote: “The only thing left for him is that pull-up shot. That’s the only thing left. Once he gets consistent with that, he’ll be an all-star every year.”
