Establishing paternity is not exactly an inexact science anymore. Have an independent lab do a DNA test. If he’s the daddy, he should negotiate the financial details. If he’s not, he should tell her to go pound sand.

I know it’s out-of-line for me to speculate, but do you reckon that Michael Jordan is heads-and-shoulders more fiscally solvent than Ricky Pierce; Brian, Harvey, or Horace Grant; Jerry Reynolds; Jayson, Jason, or Jason Williams?

All unwarranted levity aside, if the mother has been long aware that MJ is the young man’s biological father, I don’t blame her for waiting this long to file this claim. I mean, she took responsibility and raised the kid when she could’ve raked Jordan over the coals much sooner, creating more of a sensation. Maybe she is just now realizing that her son is embarking on a life on his own and regrets not having been able to give him more on her own.

Think about it: If your kid was just about at the age when he was going to have to make it in this world, perhaps seeing the news of his ultra-rich father’s engagement made her rethink his responsibility. And if he is the father, I don’t suppose it would hurt him to settle for a sum that would secure his son’s future.

I’m one of the Biggest Jordan fans in the history of His Airness !

HOWEVER because

1. He refuses to be graceful in his retirement. Most other greats go live a secluded business life. He however is more of an Al Davis/ Jerry Jones type.

2. Owns a franchise he has ZERO intention of building into a winner and is only an owner for the attention.

3. It has been 16 years, he has had EVERY opportunity to resolve the issue (kinda like his public gambling issues of the past). He has visited with the kid, took pics with the kid and appears to have had a social relationship – via the pics.
I know looks can be deceiving and does not prove paternity…..BUT this kid definitely has a lot of Jordans features.

4. He needs to put this to rest, do the test and take whatever action is required thereafter.

to make another threepeat. The thing people forget is he could have used a condom, so
if he is the baby daddy he is on the hook, plain and simple.The kid deserves the best
