insurance policy ? dude do you have any idea what this guy did while he was in Houston the other year ? have you even seen him play in a Rockets jersey ? he ripped it up every night, one of the fastest and hardest PG’s to guard during that time, and he’s very much the same player as he was then, its’ not like quite a few years had passed since all that took place, it was fairly recently…..

I’m expecting him not just to back up Lin, but to legitimately start stealing some of Lin’s minutes…. quote me on that

‘Reke hasn’t been a ball handler since just right after his rookie year. he’s a 2/3, and while he has publicly complained about his time at SF, he never plays 1 anymore. Yes, he is a ball sponge, and yes, “Tyreke takes it himself” is a running joke among Kings followers, but thats precisely why he plays off ball now. Jimmer is a different guy than he was in year 1, and Thomas won the locker room long ago to the point that DMC was wearing his jerseys after the game to protest him not starting. Both of those dudes are still under rookie contracts with multiple years left so no reason to keep AB around. I don’t know what you think you’re getting Rockets fans, but Brooks kinda sucks.

I don’t know where he’s gonna get the playing time. Beverley isn’t a household name, but he’s been playing very well. He gives the team a defensive spark and keeps knocking down shots. I think Brooks is more of an insurance policy, it’s nice to have a 3rd pg on the roster.

Nice pick up since they have no backup PG (Patrick Beverly *yawn*. He has played well, to his credit though.). Plus Brooks has been there before. Gotta love what their doing in H-Town.
