Hibbert ” manned up ” and for that he get’s my respect. Lee got suspended too . Curry was a victim of trying to be a good teammate . Like Chick Hearn use to say ” No harm no foul ”
Being in L.A. we don’t get to see Hibbert very much , but I must confess that I am impressed with him as a man and a player. God Bless Roy . Your mom sounds like a really good person too . I think it’s rubbed off on you .

Please. After the push, Hibbert was neither going after anyone or even appeared to be. Had Curry not decided to “play peacemaker”, we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

If they suspend Hibbert for one game, Curry should get two. Nothing will surprise me, though.

Curry should get suspended if Hibbert gets suspended.

The problem is that it went into the crowd. If it would have stayed on the court I don’t think anyone would have been suspended.

I’m a true Pacers fan, as much as others try to claim that hibbert should be suspended in reality Lee and Curry should be suspended too … Or simply fine Lee and leave it at that, Curry had nothing to do with it yet he was involved so he should have stayed away … Hibbert and the Pacers got the last laugh by crushing the cry baby warriors at the end THE BALL DON’T LIE!!!!

It was a physical game and things just got out of hand. Hibbert was in the middle of things but he doesn’t deserve a suspension. Maybe David west, maybe David lee for pushing hibbert hard in the first place. Maybe steph curry for bear hugging Roy twice when he’s not even his teammate. Like seriously hibbert was pretty chill behind all the action and curry runs at him like that.. Hibberts been horrible this season but he’s not that type of guy to get into trouble.

Sorry you are going to be suspended for initially getting pushed and reacting to that. Also, reacting to the little 6′ kid coming up and wrapping his arms around you, and when you pushed him off of you, he got up and did the same thing…..

So just to be clear, Curry comes after Hibbert not once but twice and despite Curry being the aggressor, Hibbert should be suspended (not Curry) because Hibbert defended himself?

I can understand (kinda) wanting to suspend Hibbert for the shove on Lee, but after that the Golden State players were unilaterally responsible for both the esclation and ending up in the stands. At one point before it hit the stands when Hibbert was backing away, Curry, Jack, and Thompson were pushing him into the stands.

It’s too bad basketball players don’t have it in them to back off and let two guys deal with their own issues. If they did either the refs break it up before anything happens or two guys throw some punches get tossed and then suspended. Hockey players for the most part have this figured out, they sit back, take a breather, watch a fight, bang their sticks against the boards and move on.
