Kyrie Irving out again Wednesday, reportedly had MRI

Feb 27, 2013, 7:46 PM EDT

East All-Star Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers competes in the three-point contest during the NBA basketball All-Star weekend in Houston Reuters

Kyrie Irving is sitting out the Cavaliers game against the Raptors on Wednesday, which was to be expected. When he missed Tuesday’s game we told you that this was likely.

But in announcing he is out there is an interesting note from Bob Finnan of the News Herald on twitter.

Good news the MRI was precaution and nothing serious was found.

Cleveland needs him back, without him on Wednesday night they started shooting 1-of-15 and were forced into a series of bad shots.

Steve Nash, Metta World Peace & Earl Clark for Kyrie Irving & Luke Walton.

The Cavs get a promising young big, a future hall of famer and a defensive stopper, the Lakers get younger with a PG of the future. Make it happen Kupchak.

What the hell would the cavs make that trade for….Steve Nash is washed up….along with meta world peace…and earl Clark is a la fans are truly delusional…..good day……I said good day

I love the Wilder reference, I lol everytime I read it. Earl is an up and comer, will make a solid rotation player, so I agree with you on everything except that. Still a delusional trade scenario.

Throw in Jabar and West, because, they’re, you know, hall of famers, and I’m sure grant would take the bait—unless, of course, he’s not a complete moron.

Btw—the “make it happen” addendum is great for comedic effect.
