LeBron back to putting on pregame dunking exhibition (VIDEO)

Feb 26, 2013, 10:35 PM EDT

I’m not kidding — if you have tickets to go see the Heat, don’t be a Miami fan that is too cool and shows up after the first five minutes, get there early for the pregame dunk show the team puts on.

The cameras were on LeBron James Tuesday and he didn’t disappoint.

Well, he disappoints that he is not going to do the dunk contest ever, but he’s worth the price of admission in warmups.

He makes it look so easy.

You guys make this nice iPad app yet you dont link the videos so those of us using one can see them. Come on man!

    • lbroberts123 - Feb 27, 2013 at 10:32 AM

It’s the same with the iphone. They should also add Off the Bench on the app.

Ah, I like the shot at Miami “fans”

  4. jssgriffi - Feb 26, 2013 at 11:21 PM

I agree, what’s the point of making an app if you don’t link the damn videos? They used to work. What the heck happened? Get it together!

the lack of imbedded video in the app is ridiculous

Back to the actual subject of this article:

Nice dunk, LeBron! Probably hammered it first try, too. They gotta keep this pregame routine up. Also, somebody needs to pull off a 720 dunk or something real crazy. I seen the video of dude doing it a few years ago, but I’m talking about a superstar, like LeBron

or, you could give the fans what they really want and dunk in the Dunk Contest. How can the best player on the planet be afraid to compete?

    • psung26 - Feb 27, 2013 at 12:24 AM

Agreed. For being a massive people pleaser, Lebron sure won’t give the fans what they REALLY want to see, and hint, it’s not some pregame dunks. Lebron must know he would obviously win if he competed, so why won’t he compete? He’s even said he would, only to reneg on his promise later on. Maybe it has to do with how he’s afraid of how he’ll look when dunking or how it won’t be spectacular enough ala Vinsanity 2000, which is a very, very girly concern if true.

    • saint1997 - Feb 27, 2013 at 2:00 AM

he’s not afraid of competing, he just knows if he wins people will say yeah well he should and if he loses people will be shocked and ridicule him

    • pantsfreezone - Feb 27, 2013 at 2:19 AM

Because beating scrubs like Jeremy Evans, Terrence Ross and Dwight Howard will do nothing for him.

      • iskuterista - Feb 27, 2013 at 3:12 AM

You are all correct. He’s afraid to lose in a supposedly easy competition, but maybe he would do it if the dunk contest had not become the circus show it is today. Bring back the old format.
