I say the Dubs trade biedrins Barnes and a 1st rounder to the Hawks for josh Smith. Get Rush back next year re-sign Smith and that team would be scary with Lee Bogut Smith Klay and Curry starting 5

Totally agree. It's funny how some posters on this site totally undervalue players that are still on rookie contracts. If you have a quality player on a rookie contract, his value is so much higher than a player of equal ability on a max contract. In Gordon's case he is the better player when healthy, but his health has been a huge issue obviously. No way would Golden State make that trade.

Imagine Curry, Bogut and Gordon on the same team. The medical staff would need an extra wing added to their facility. How many games in a season do you think all three would play together? 6? 10 max?

Klay has a more certain/bright future than Gordon. U would never do that trade if ur the warriors. If Gordon somehow stays healthy, ur still paying max money for him. Klay is almost as good as Gordon, can get much better, is healthy, is paid far less, is a fan favorite.. And I'm not even a fan of his/gsw. Now granger for Gordon maybe. But klay no way.

1. If the Warriors have the option of a Gordon for Thompson swap (obviously with salaries mixed in) they should do it. Gordon can be a 20+ PPG scorer in this league and could really mesh well with Curry.
2. Pacers should definitely trade Danny Granger for a really good scorer at the 2 to help with their offensive woes (Tyreke, Eric Gordon). They're 3rd without him and Paul G is better at the 3.
3. The Jazz should trade both their bigs for a point guard and picks galore. With Burks, Hayward, Favors and Kanter all in the wings, they have a lot of young potential
