Suns fans wanted Fab Melo. Fab Melo was drafted in the 1st rd, i.e, ‘first round talent’.

Melo may or may not be considered 1st round talent in a few seasons, but every so-called draft pundit had him going in the 1st round.

Fab Melo has blayed like 10 mins in the NBA and you’re already grouping him in with a make-the-numbers-work trade throw in like Haddadi???

Melo was drafted on his potential a few seasons down the road. Maybe he will become a decent player, maybe not. But we do now that Haddadi stinks now AND going forward. Gotta give Melo some time to try and develop. Athletic 7 ft’s don’t grow on trees.

Why should Boston give up on a potentially good big man in exchange for a undersized 3rd string PG like Telfair?

Phoenix made out like bandits on this deal. All I would have given for Telfair is cash considerations…low cash considerations.

I’m happier with this, but I got like 25 thumbs down from Celtics fans for suggesting Melo and a 2nd round pick. I don’t see a difference in this trade. The 2nd round pick is still a 2nd round pick, and if any Celtics fans think Melo is ever going to be much better than Haddadi, they should take a closer look.

A protected 2nd round pick and a guy who will be bought out asap for Telfair…sounds about right.

And to think some Sun fans wanted 1st rd talent for him…Hahahahaha!
