The Minnesota Timberwolves were turned down on an offer of Brandon Roy and a first-round pick to Denver for center Timofey Mozgov, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

My only question is how much Masai Ujiri laughed before saying no.

Wow. A few years ago that statement would have been impossible.

Plus, Brandon Roy’s final year is likely to be dumped anyway. 1st round pick for a backup center makes no sense.

Why would that rumored Timberwolves trade be good for them? I mean they get a good backup Center on the cheap and can kick Steamer out, but I don’t really get it. Both Roy and Mosgov are signed thru 2013-2014 I think, so it would only save 1 million in cap space+Greg’s contract.

I think they thought he would rehab quick and be a pro. Instead he dragged out the rehab….. stayed in L.A. most of the time and seems like he is sulking. They now have a max player that doesn’t want to be there… has hurt his own trade value and alienated the fan base. Kind of sucks for the city but hey they have the All Star game next year.

I don’t understand why New Orleans would give Eric Gordon max money and then try to trade him a few months later. Why not try to save face and at least pretend that he’s untouchable

The nuggets need a star trade for Dwight Howard. mozgov to Minnesota for 1st rounder and d. Williams sent to orlando for reddick .
Redick + mcroberts + harkless to pacers for granger and hansbourgh
Granger + hansbourgh + koufos + Wilson C. To lakers for Howard + meeks
