The suns are gonna have a lot of cap money and two or three first rounders stacked up for the drafts coming up. Remember teams with the most cap space 2014 guys like Wade and James are availible

And Josh Smith isn’t Carmelo. There are very few players – and teams willing to trade a full roster for 1 said player – that would command a trade similar to the trade that hauled in Carmelo.

I know it may work in the trade machine (great tool, by the way), but I don’t think the Suns would make this move. It really doesn’t benefit them at all. I don’t think Henson is enough of a draw, since Pachulia is awful and the Suns have enough picks without making this deal.

any trade for the suns that involves Gortat is worthless…he is the only big we have with talent, and the only center we have that is playoff material…sure, wed get a star in smith..but we would get destroyed in the playoffs by teams with solid 4′s and 5′s…

Nets are offering trash for a very good player. Brooks? Rarely plays. Humphries? He get paid 12 mil a year, but his production is worth a quarter of that. They want to trade for a pretty good player in Smith, but they’re not willing to give up anything for it.

The Bucks aren’t willing to give up their best young pieces, Henson and Sanders. The Nets doesn’t have a good package to offer Atlanta. I think that the Wizards have a good shot at smoove if they offer ariza, seraphin, vesely, crawford and picks. The Rockets should wait until free agency to go after him, because they are the best fit for him with their fast pace style, so giving up assets at the deadline would be foolish

Three team deal between Hawks, Suns and Bucks. This works on trade machine.

Suns get: Henson, Pachulia, 2013 first rounder from Atlanta, 2014 second rounder from Milwaukee

Hawks get: Monta Ellis, Marcin Gortat

Bucks get: Josh Smith

The Suns get two draft picks, a promising prospect and an expiring contract to build for the future. The Hawks replace Smith with two above-average starters, and the Bucks give up Ellis (who was probably going to leave anyway) for the player they want in Smith. As long as Smith is willing to stay in Milwaukee, it’s a win for all three I think.

I just don’t see a scenario where the Hawks receive a good deal from Brooklyn for Josh Smith. Kris Humphries, MarShon Brooks & a first round pick are not enough in my opinion. Best bet for Atlanta seems to be Phoenix, with Gortat, some players and a first round pick. The only two players from Milwaukee the Hawks should go after are Monta Ellis & Larry Sanders.

The Suns could keep Smoove if they choose . They would have his Larry Bird rights . I don’t see Phoenix making a move . The other two , Nets & Bucks , are the players .
