So this is the center piece of the CP3 trade that Stern pushed for? A player that no one wants to trade for. So after they get nothing in return for Gordon, they just got a pick for CP3. Great move David, you make such a great GM for the other owners not named Buss.

I want to hate this idea but I really can’t. If the Hornets are willing to overpay Smith and he is willing to play there…. that could be a decent trade for him. The Hawks need a scorer and if it doesn’t work it’s not like they have a fan base that will care (see attendance figures). I like it……..

Gordon definitely has the talent to be worth a max contract but he’s a big risk. He is one of the best scorers in the league but he seems so selfish. He’s a good passer when he does pass the ball, but he’s a bit of a ballhog and black hole, it takes the other players out of the game.
