I'm also an avid 76ers fan, and I agree with a lot of what you're saying. I feel like our chances of luring elite level talent are small, and the year we get lucky with a lottery pick, we get a mediocre and timid Evan Turner with the 2nd pick overall.

I truly feel there is only 1 way of getting out of this limbo of being a borderline playoff team that gets bounced 1st round every year only to recieve a middle of the pack draft pick...and that's for us to make good on a top-5 draft selection.

There is a reason you can buy Sixers tickets on Stubhub for like 1.00 these days. No one in Philly cares about this team anymore, because quite simply the franchise does not care about winning. For years it was the Iggy show, featuring a bunch of mediocre players, who could finish middle of the pack and get bounced in the playoffs. The most marketable piece on this team isn't a player, it is Doug Collins for crying out loud.

It would be great to think that Bynum could be healthy, but he obviously has chronic knee problems, and can't be relied on. Hopefully they eventually trade E.T. in the offseason and rebuild this team around their only quality starter, Jrue. I love the Sixers and want to see them win, but I honestly would love it if they would just tank for a few years so they could get some players through the draft, considering they never have a budget/prestige to lure anyone in free agency.

I hope he gets healthy and is able to play. He is an entertaining player to watch. I still think the Lakers got better at center even when Bynum gets healthy, but as a basketball fan I want to see him doing his thing!
