I have said for years any team with Dwight Howard for its center will never win a chip. He’s soft and not a leader everything is a joke. Now he’s playing with a dude who is also a bitch but is a killer in Kobe and Dwight is showing his true colors.

Not saying that I’m fixed that the Lakers should trade Dwight, as a Lakers fan you hold out hope, but there’s a real possibility that this will not work out, and it’s all cause of Dwight. His immaturity, selfishness, weak will to win, and often stupidity is a danger to this entire great franchise. I do not consider D.H. as the next great Laker center behind the footsteps of Wilt, Jabbar, Shaq, and (yes) Bynum. I even consider Vlade Divac as higher on the Laker Great C’s list than him. Realize now
that he was over-rated as a center for his entire NBA career. Just know that Kobe and Nash deserve much better.

If this same team was assembled on, let’s just say …the Hawks, it would still be the same thing because of whose on there.

Yes, of course the fact that this is the Lakers and everything The LAKERS do is BIG, but you got 3x MVPs (Nash-2, Bryant-1), 4x DPOY (Howard-3, Artest-1), 4 HOFers, one of the leagues top 3 greatest players ever. The Leagues best C. One of the all time greatest floor generals and shooters the game has seen. 6 players that have either one time or another been The Man on their respective former ball clubs (Bryant-Lakers, Nash-Suns, Howard-Magic, Gasol-Grizzlies, Artest-Pacers, Kings, Jamison-Wizards, Cavs *Agent Zero was hurt and suspended A LOT, post-LBJ Cavs*), and countless amounts of All-Star appearences.

This team assembled should have been the Larry O’ fav-o-rites. Even with the Miami trio and the Thunder, -1 Harden. Or the Clips and CP3/Blake Griff’ and the superbench.

No wonder why there is so much coverage. Just face facts. It is what it is.

More people care about the Lakers than any other team. They were supposed to be good, if not great, according to just about every offseason prediction, and they aren’t. They’ve got 3 of the top players of the past decade. This is the biggest story in the NBA this season, by far. I’m so tired of hearing people complain about it. If you honestly don’t know why the stories are so widespread, you’re kidding yourself. It’s obvious why the Lakers get so much coverage, and it’s warranted. It’s tiresome to hear people complaining about it.
