Especially with the possibility of no rose all season. Nate is one of the few players on that team that can score in bunches.

Also, if I remember correctly about the terms of the amnesty clause, a team can’t amnesty a player that wasn’t under contract at the time the new CBA was signed. At least the bulls can still amnesty Booz down the road. Yeah bargs makes a little less,but you’re stuck with that contract after the trade.

Yeah, and not only is Bargnani a worse defender (thats really saying something) but his offensive game isn’t really a fit for the Bull’s offense. Not only that but Nate Robinson is doing a great job holding it down while Rose is out, Lucas isn’t really an upgrade.

Really, all he does is make someone go out to the three point line when a defense is rotating. There are plenty of guys that can do that and do other things as well.

Why trade Boozer now? I hate to say it but this is his best year in Chi. He has finally stepped up his game. It’s just like Reinsdorf to break this up because of money. As a Bulls fan, I would hate to see Boozer leave now. The chemistry is there, even without Rose. I do not like this trade for the long term for the Bulls.
