Anyways, the only way the Blazers do this deal is if Blatche is included because their front line is already thin as it is.There’s no way they’ll take Humphries’ ridiculous contract.

Billy King is a franchise killer. He can only draft in the second round, makes awful trades and overpays for talent (This Humphries contract is not new if you have followed him – look at the money he gave Kenny stinkin’ Thomas”.

The fact that he picked Larry Hughes ahead of Dirk Nowitzki and Paul Pierce sums up his career nicely.

The Blazers have around 13mil of cap space next year. Hickson will go for at least 8 with how well he has been playing this season. That only leaves 5 to try to add pieces far more necessary than Hicksons hustle/rebound role, namely, a starting center and either an upgrade to Mathews or an equal to him who can come off the bench and create shots. Since Blazers will most likely let him walk in FA I think they should trade him if hes willing. Realistically, they have over performed this year and the lack of bench is catching up, I even as a fan, have a hard time seeing us make the playoffs so a trade of Hickson for potential would help us lose and get a better pick.

I know Marshon is a young sg but not much else about him, how is he doing this year? Do the Nets have any picks this year?

The problem with the Nets is the team was built entirely wrong.There are no killers on this team and that is why they underachieve; they have no guys that have the heart to impose their will on a game and turn deficits into leads. All of the contenders around them have it…even Boston with its depleted lineup. The team may want to consider moving one of their ‘mid-sized three’ to get any tangible value back.
