Knicks fan and I would think he is just trying to cover up what an awful game he had. Which every superstar does but boy when he wants to shoot you out of a game he does it like no one in the history of the game

I’d have an arm contusion too, if i jacked up as many shots of MElo. MElo is just a taller Iverson. He’d be luck to make it to one Finals appearance like Iverson. Iverson had a great coach to help him get there. Guys like MElo and Iverson need a coach with a strong personality to curb their selfish tendencies. Unfortunately, Woodson doesn’t strike me as that kind of coach. So MElo will help Woodson have a decent season, but will never be the guy to lead a team to a championship. Even Kobe deferred during the Lakers championship days. MElo? Never. They should have kept the team D’Antoni had and traded for D Williams, the guy D’Antoni originally wanted. This would have been a better fit with Amare, a more athletic Karl Malone. IMO, this would have given the Knicks a better shot at a championship. Now they have no shot.

at the start of the season i was quite impressed with Melo’s attitude. the way he was moving ball being a leader,an exhibiting self control. showing growth an maturity. but slowly he starting fall back to being the old Melo. crying to refs. when not getting calls trying to do to much,an his incident with KG was the capper on his MVP. campaign.to me anyway. but a true MVP doesn’t take 2 games from his team, because of what some cat says to him on the court. so no i don’t have him in the MVP. conversation. he really needs to refocus on the things he was doing at the start of year in order to salvage the entire teams season. hes not the only guy on the team who fell off, by any means, but as a leader he has to show the way

Weird that he got injured there because he wears almost as much armor as Barty Bonds or Craig Biggio did!

I don’t recall the league forcing a player to miss the next game after the all start break because he was injured. If that’s the case all this talk about Dwight Howard being selfish by going to the all star game is shortsighted since he would be suspended for it. This is the dumbest rule I ever heard, we know these players are injured, but we’re going to take paychecks because they want to give their injuries a chance to heal.
