You obviously didn't watch the game. Outside of two or three forced shots, he simply missed looks that he normally knocks down. You are allowed to have an off game every 10 games or so. Just like Rudy was missing good looks all night. It happens. He began pressing when he repeatedly got hacked on drives and wasn't getting the call. But he was passing out of doubles and facilitating the offense in the 2nd half. The problem was the number of missed layups, dumb turnovers and missed free throws by everyone from Felton, JR, Chandler and Stoudemire -- each had terribly missed layups, missed free throws, dumb fouls and inexplicable turnovers. Firing off at Melo is misguided. And yes, aside from LeBron's otherworldly play, he is a legitimate MVP (see closing of MIN game last week). I hate people like you who read box scores and make dumb statements.

And before you even try it, if you had watched the game, you'd be echoing what I said, not trying to reiterate your tripe, so save the keystrokes.

The Knicks missed about 15 layups last night, and at least 10 free throws. The lack of focus on fundamentals with this team some nights is beyond galling. The Raptors weren't even doing anything spectacular; just some of the worst offensive basketball that you'll see from a team that literally lost because they couldn't make simple layups.

Some players who get an arm injured during the game stop shooting so much and find other ways to help the team win. Not Melo, how pathetic, stupid, and selfish does one have to be? I mean he's talking about missing the All star game, yet it didn't stop him from firing them up and missing the rest of the night.

Melo should not and will not EVER win a MVP, and rightfully so
