Incorrect, the mavs entire roster is on a one year deal with the exception to the rookies, vince, marion, and Dirk.

Surely they have expiring contracts? Isn’t Kaman on a one-year deal? IIRC Mayo signed only a two year deal, so if someone’s looking for a gunner…

Jennings isn’t a franchise player, and he’s not a max deal guy, either. I didn’t think James Harden was either, though, so I may be wrong about BJ, but I think the Bucks have seen his lack of improvement in the three years he’s been here as a sign that he’s not going to give them much more than what he already has, so it makes sense to move him now.

I’m sure if the Mavs want him, a third team would get involved and they’d all find a way to get a deal done.

The Ray Allen deal was terrible and Bucks fans hate George Karl for doing it (mostly because it didn’t need to be done) but there’s no way the Bogut trade should be criticized.

I could not agree with you more sir. Brandon Jennings has less than stellar court vision, an atrocious arsenal of shots, horrible on ball defense, and plays with no fire to win anymore. He shoots .395% from the field and creates no opportunities for his other four teammates while on the floor. If the Bucks could acquire a pass first point guard to click with Monta Ellis, by all means they should do it.

I disagree. First off, the Bogut trade was a great one. The Aussie was always brittle, but ever since the elbow/wrist shattering it was clear he wasn’t going to materialize to the hopeful expectations we all had of the #1 overall pick.

I’m not convinced BJ is even the Bucks best player. Most fans love/hate him, and usually within the same game. He gets hot for a quarter, then misses everything with that annoying floater shot. Further, he doesn’t close out games well.

All that to say, BJ3 is going to want, and seek a MAX contract. So are you advocating the Bucks re-sign him and tie up all those dollars? We JUST got out from one of those organization-crippling deals (#22, M.Redd).

Everyone is movable. Always. For the right deal, the right price, the right return. If the deal makes sense and ultimately makes the Bucks better over the long term (that’s a big “IF”), my vote is – by all means do it.

Same old Bucks, trading away their best players. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Ray Allen, Andrew Bogut, and now looking to continue that trend. Some things never change!
