Noah is just an irritant. Like I said I would certainly enjoy him on my team but the way he shrieks like a 13 yr old girl after a dunk, or the demonstrative clapping when an opponent misses a free throw. Little things like that that get under your skin because he’s pulling down every rebound and redirecting shots all the time. If he sucked his act wouldn’t get on my nerves

I am pretty sure that everyone who comments in here saw my rant about how this team was better w/out Rondo a couple weeks ago. I’m glad people are finally seeing what I saw a while ago. Basketball is a team game, not a game where you dribble until 8 seconds on the shot clock and try to fill the assist sheet. The whole team is involved and it translates to their defense. Basketball 101.

Chicitybulls: His point, which it seems you missed shockingly, is that the Bulls have been losing 71% of their games recently, so if Kurt writes an article after every game, 71% of the time, it’s going to be after a loss.

When a team only wins 2 games in the past 2 weeks, it’s hard to write 3 or 4 articles about the Bulls winning….since they only won twice.

Isn’t that logical?

This was a bad game offensively. Sure there was good defense but it was more bad offense than good defense by both teams. There was one stretch early in the 3rd where it was tied at 39 and Deng shot a corner airball and the Celts came down and KG shot a top of the key airball. Both were uncontested. The score was stuck at 39 for a while as both teams simply could not score. Boozer even missed a point blank layup which forced a timeout by Doc. The announcers even had to laugh at how bad the offense was. I also was laughing. Just one of those games you have during the season going into the break.

Not that it matters at this point, but it was Taj Gibson who missed the 28 footer. The result would’ve been the same in Boozer shot it.

Sharing the ball is important, just look at the Spurs. Finally some of the other Celtics get a chance to participate now. Filling the stat sheet isn’t as important as ball movement. I think the Celtics are better without Rondo.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s because they’ve lost 5 out of their last 7 games. simple logic is that if your team is losing most of their games lately, articles about them will be about their loss. I know, this is tough to understand.

I’ve been saying that it would be unwise to over-read the Celtics’ current string of wins without Rondo because it’s still a small sample size against mostly bad teams*…..but we’re slowly reaching the point where it’s no longer a small sample size.

3 wins have come against sub-0.400 teams like the Sacramento Kings, Orlando Magic, and Toronto Raptors.
2 wins have come against sub-0.500 teams like the Lakers without Gasol and Clippers without Chris Paul.*

*Clippers are a good team that’s over 0.500, but they lost 2/3 of their games without Chris Paul this season, so they’re clearly much worse without their team MVP.

That’s 5 wins against teams that have lost a lot. However, now 3 wins have come against legitimately good teams like the Heat, Nuggets, and Bulls.

Even their loss to the Bobcats could be argued as a “schedule-loss”, since it came after a triple-OT win against an uptempo team like the Nuggets.

Their next 10 opponents include the Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz, Golden State Warriors, and OKC Thunder. If the Celtics go 6-4 or better, then the improved play without Rondo becomes impossible to dismiss…

This was an ugly offensive game but as far as defense goes that was a clinic by both teams. They smothered everything and disrupted any flow to an offense. On both sides.

Noah is such a dbag but I’d love him on my team. He plays like 42 minutes a game and never tires. Grabbing boards and playing super D. Like a young KG but without the jumper and low post game. Sad that both of these teams are missing key pieces but the bulls are getting their guys back his year.
