As much as I like the Spurs, the real knock has to come in the playoffs. The Spurs have had an unprecedented streak of success in the regular season
Come playoff time, rotations become tighter and shorter. Having said that, they have a good bench.
From a strictly basketball POV, would love to see the Spurs play Bulls in the finals.

The headline to this story should be "youth movement". Splitter, Green, Leonard and Gary Neal all average 22-29 minutes per game, and three of them average double-digit points (and Neal is nearly there at 9.8 points). After the Big 3, this group of 4 younger players receives the most minutes, takes the most shots on the team, and lead the team in various important stats such as FG%, FT%, and steals.

Popovich is the greatest sports coach of our time. You could give him the Bobcats roster and they'd make the playoffs. No one maybe ever has maximized his guys talent than Pop.

I look at it similarly to the Wildcat formation in football. It's just one more thing to prepare for leading up to the game.

Do you plan for Duncan, Parker and Ginoboli or do you prepare for the backups? Surely both represent different game plans for their opponent.

I guess that falls under who you prepare for and not what you prepare for.
