This is the NBA. If you’re getting playing time, it’s for a reason. Having lots of energy is infectious, and is a skill/talent within itself.

Race has nothing to do with this, cause “energy guy” has been used for Turiaf, and Reggie Evans.

Why would the Lakers be looking for a big? D’Antoni would only put him on the bench. He only likes outside shooters. And Jimmie to save face would not sign someone that does not work with Mike’s horrible offense. Jimmie needs the team to do good to show that he hired the “right” guy.

Oh God no Lakers….please turn the other way and keep moving. Haven’t you guys learned anything from the Josh McRoberts experiment?

If anything pick up a real big like 6”11-7”0 so we can stop having to put Earl Clark as a backup C cause Pau and J Hill are out and done. Unless it’s Kenyon Martin, we can do that.

As soon as you see phrases like “energy guy off the bench” or its baseball equivalents, “gritty” and “hustling”, you know the subject is some undertalented white guy who doesn’t really do anything well but yet still gets playing time.

I can’t believe teams are looking at him with Kenyon martin just sitting there for the Lakers to take him, I would have no problem with kenyon Martin being on the Lakers I mean who is gonna help Dwight out vs that okc frontline? Lou should go to the Sixers Asap becauce they could care less about hustle and team defense. I call it the nick young effect with nick on your team you can’t focus on D because nick is stealing all your shots.. Mitch please sign Kenyon and save the laker season.
