DeMar DeRozan dunks all over Timofey Mozgov (VIDEO)

Feb 12, 2013, 8:40 PM EDT

With Rudy Gay, DeMar DeRozan and rookie Terrence Ross on the roster the Toronto Raptors have a lot of guys who will aggressively attack the rim. Which is hell on bigs expected to rotate over and protect the paint.

Such as one Timofey Mozgov of the Denver Nuggets.

Mozgov was trying to move with his man, saw what was happening and reversed field but by that time it was too late and he was destined to get dunked on. Hard.

Thanks to Sports Illustrated’s The Point Forward for the video.

The guy who should be embarrassed is whoever was supposedly on DeRozan (Andre Miller?). Mozgov was slow to rotate, which is typical Mozgov Euro-style defense, but he was at least trying to compensate for a teammate’s failure.

Looked like Mozgov was already helping in the paint, then tried to help when DeRozan drove the lane. At least he’s trying to play defense, which is more than you can say for Andre Miller who wasn’t playing any of DeRozan.

Wasn’t it just Miller who was saying he wants MORE playing time?? Dude, you’re old and slow. Accept that Coach Karl knows how to utilize your diminishing talents best and play hard.

Poor Mozgov. I’m sure he could stand at the free throw line and find a way to get dunked on.

    Wow!!!
He actually dunked the ball, not “throw it in” from 2 feet away.
