first off its not me its the nets haha but secondly the bench isn’t a strength nor has it ever been. If they want a star starting 5 they will get one. A lot of those guys are barely used on the bench as well. I’m not saying it is a good move, but that is the price they pay

I ‘ve seen 6 games this year, they are moving slowly away from the Avery’s micro managed system to P.J.’s more flexable system with does allow for some fast breaks. But it is hard to teach an old dog new tricks.You would think in Brooklyn they could just go to the local parks and find the next MJ, starbury or Kenny Smith. ya think ??

oh please, oh please rescue atlanta from this malcontent! josh is a local kid that has worn out his welcome with ill-advised 3′s & a PISS POOR attitude. he only left home for a year to attend oak hill and has yet to grow up or improve. run him outta here before he talks his spoiled punk of a best friend and preschool classmate (dwight howard) into coming home to atlanta.

we’d welcome marshon back (he’s from here too…tucker (ga) hs. he is a hell of a player and a pure shooter, unlike mr. smith. c’mon d.ferry, pull the trigger fast before the big russian wishes up!

Yes, he can, and he probably won’t be that expensive to keep next season given how much he’s getting from the Wizards the next two seasons. If the Nets can get the Bobcats to surrender the Diop/Carroll expirings to Atlanta instead of Ben Gordon, I definitely think that some combination of Hump, Brooks, Teletovic, Blatche and picks could get Josh Smith done.

Josh smith a nice player but pls. U would another jumpshot happy forward for three. He could be top ten player in this league if he worked on his game. No thx Joe Johnson can barely score 20 Williams barely get 7 assist a night N crash is good player but he can come off the bench for that energy spark their bench is just weak. Watson is average. Thank u bulls for letting him go. Put brooks to start at 2 move joe to 3. Start kris again n feed him the ball with pick n roll he can shoot that shot The reason they play bad most nights is they can’t defend

I think it makes sense for both teams. Hawks arent going anywhere, let Teague and MarShon grow together. Nets gets another coach killer (i.e. Deron Williams).

The Nets better do something before their season falls apart. The team looks like trash, weak minded and slow. I expected more of a push from Deron. They never run fast breaks. Always waiting for he defense to set up. They have no sense of urgency when they fall behind. They need some young athletic ballers who can score. I sure miss Gerald Green. Now that I think of it…. Deron has probably 2 alley’s this year. They’re just not there yet. Getting Smith would help but they still need more. Maybe if Lebron retires they’ll win…lol

A trade is a two-way street and I don’t think that the Hawks want to pay Humphries $12 mil next year. That means that they need to pitch in a draft pick. Therefore, they’ll trade Humphries for maybe some more draft picks and build up.

But a Humphries and Brooks- Josh Smith trade won’t happen without a draft pick. And the Mad Russian will give it up because he thinks the Nets can win right now. That’ll be a good trade for everyone.

can Andray Blatche be traded with his contract? He has been playing well and coupled with Brooks, Humphries, maybe teletovic and picks something could happen there. (i’d also want tyshaun taylor if i were the hawks)
