That’s a reasonable answer in the abstract, but when you watch the actual games and you hear the announcers say, over and over and over, “I didn’t really see a foul there” you realize the officiating is either fixed or incompetent or both.,

…Actually, the Bulls are known for their physical defense.

Teams that play physical defense and challenge every shot naturally get called for more fouls. See the Indiana Pacers as a second example.

The Bulls defense has definitely suffered this year with the new guys. I think the biggest problem with the Bulls is they play too clean–they rarely foul guys driving the lane. The refs, of course, see it differently.

Have no idea if the Nugg’s success will translate to playoff wins but, they sure are an entertaining alternative to the basketball super teams.

The Nuggets own the tiebreaker after going 3-1 against Golden State so it’ll be a bit tougher.

The bulls have trouble with athletic teams like this once or twice a year. You take that and couple that with a worn out roster and you have an opportunity to be blown out.
