Dwyane Wade still has hops, shows it on reverse dunk (VIDEO)

Feb 6, 2013, 11:35 PM EDT

Dwyane Wade may not be able to bring it every night like he could back in 2006, but he can still bring it.

And he brought it against the Rockets — 31 points, eight assists, five rebounds, four steals and two blocks. He was attacking and that led to him getting 13 free throws on the night.

He had a little extra hop in his step on this dunk — he could have gone simple on the breakaway but decided to have some fun with the reverse throw down.

Wade’s looked better recently as he recovers from knee surgery. Despite his slow start, Wade is one of only 3 players ranked in the top-10 of the NBA in scoring average who has been shooting over 50%. The other two are LeBron and Durant. So while Wade’s scoring numbers are down, his efficiency is at an all-time high.

So far this season Wade has averaged 20.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game at 50.5% shooting in 34.0 minutes per game.

Ultimately, Wade is a 21-5-5 guy this year, after being a 25-5-6 guy for most of his career. However, while points per game are down, efficiency is at an all-time high.

he can bring it every other game, sometimes every other, other game.
in a few years LeBron will be stuck with two old players, like Cleveland.
maybe Bosh will leave early for the HOF.

06 wasn’t even his best year, secondly he’s been bringing it every game for the last 9 years. He’s the reason why miami has 2 titles, he doesn’t have to bring it every game any more thats why lbj and bosh is there. Media quit trying to diminsh and overlook the things d wade do to make lbj look like superman.. Lbj was ringless b4 he came to miami, he was a choak job waiting to happen aswell. Respect greatness kurt. Without d wade lbj wud just be a great player with no ring..

@0:17 does Wade double dribble? He switches hands without dribbling the ball. Can’t remember if that’s a double dribble or not, or a carry

Nevermind he hadn’t started his dribble at that point. Rough morning….
