Kobe finds Earl Clark for the half-court alley-oop against Pistons (VIDEO)

Feb 3, 2013, 9:36 PM EDT

There’s something about the Lakers with 0.4 seconds on the clock.

One of the team’s most famous postseason shots ever came with that amount of time remaining, as Derek Fisher won Game 5 of the 2004 Western Conference semi-finals.

This one doesn’t mean nearly as much, but it was a spectacular play nonetheless.

Kobe Bryant is the passer, taking the ball out near half-court. As the Pistons broadcast team laments, the only play the Lakers have here is to try for a lob at the rim.

Jonas Jerebko completely loses Earl Clark, and Bryant finds him with a perfect pass to end the half with a highlight-reel, two-handed slam.

It wasn’t easy, but the Lakers held on to beat the Pistons for the team’s fifth win in its last six games.
