Dikembe Mutombo blocks everything in new GEICO commercial (VIDEO)

Feb 3, 2013, 11:00 AM EST

Dikembe Mutombo last appeared on an NBA roster back in 2009, but it seems like a lot longer ago than that. His legacy as one of the better shot blockers of his time remains, as evidenced by his appearance in this latest ad for GEICO insurance.

His voice is pure comedy to begin with, and the sheer joy with which he runs around swatting everything in sight makes this one worth watching more than once.

I usually don’t like these commercials, but Mutombo is the best.

I just wish he swatted the guitar and mandolin out of those dudes hands. They ruin these commercials.

Ok..on the basketball court this may make sense. In the commercial it seems not about insurance but telling viewers that if your big enough it’s cool to be a bully.
