These guys are professional athletes. I think you’re giving Taylor too much credit. They’re a lot better at basketball than you or I (see the White Mamba video), even if they’re “just” bench guys. It’s just a strange injury because most of the time with these fluke injuries, there’s some aspect of being “blindsided.” I would expect to see this degree of lack of body awareness in a rec league, not in the NBA (again, I’m implying it was done on purpose, just commenting on Taylor’s lack of court awareness).
