He’s not gone just yet. It’s probable that he’ll be tossed, and it’s likely that they’re trying to work out a “retirement package” so he and they can save face.

However, given the way the Executive Committee rallied around this creep when Fisher first (and rightly) called him out, I don’t rule out the chance that he’ll return. If that’s the case, look for passive voice statements like “mistakes were made” and the mandatory “Jesus has shown me the way to be better” manure.

I hope that all those spineless weasels who supported Hunter over Fisher will now contact him and say, “You were right and I was wrong”. zacksdad is right, Derek Fisher should be leading the union. I’d love to see his first meeting with the union staff–”Time to evaluate your loyalties. If your family, faith if any, the players, and the union don’t come before Billy Hunter, clean your desk out now and get the f**k out of here.”

Hunter is as crooked as a bent nail. Wouldn’t be surprised to eventually see him go to jail. He should have been toast back when Derek Fisher first called him out on the nepotism. They were slow to get rid of this clown, but glad to see him gone.

Wasn’t most of these concerns also made by Derek Fisher. Derek should be hired to represent the players. He seemed to fight for them the most.
