Watch the replay bud. As soon as he shoved G. Hill with both of his arms stretched, mind you, and as soon as Hill fell flat, he just stared down on him, that’s pretty much a no-remorse look and attitude pal. And of course, Hill’s teammates OBVIOUSLY would come to his aid (wouldn’t you?) considering how the whole play looked to them. It can be a career-ending outcome on Hill alone just by looking on how he hit the deck. Flat on his back.

Stiemsma couldn’t control his arms? That’s a push with both arms. Perhaps Barnes couldn’t control his right arm just like Stiemsma.

I don’t think I’d call the foul on Hill blatant. That would imply that Steimsma had complete control over his body when going up for a rebound, and honestly I don’t think he’s that agile. As for the no remorse… well how remorseful would you look if as soon as the foul occured you started getting pushed around by 2 guys? Not very. Barnes is a punk. Pure and simple. Stiemsma? I’d call him more of a clumsy oaf.

Barnes might be a punk but this was probably not an isolated incident…..Steimsma is the dirtiest player in the NBA BY FAR and Barnes was prob tired of his crap and I’m not a fan of either team so i don’t have a rooting interest…i encourage everybody from now on watch Steimsma play and watch the little things he does u will see what I am talking about if u don’t already know

Looking at both plays, both players got off pretty easy. I’m in no means a fan of either team but Barnes actions in which he did it not once, but twice (refs only called it the second time he did it) and what Stiemsma did was endanger a player’s career.
In my book Barnes should have gotten 2 games and Stiemsma should have gotten at least 2 if not 3…

I agree. He should’ve got the same for his intentional shove on Grant Hill on that play. Total BS considering he looked like he had no remorse on it too.

I like Matt some, but there is no question as to if he is a punk. He has proven that to be true over the course of several of these types of instances.
