The small market Grizzlies had to blow up the team just to get under the tax line in the future. That new salary cap helps out NO ONE.

How anyone believes that trade made the Grizzlies better I will never understand. In what world is Prince (whom is one of my all-time favorite players, by the way) better then Gay? F a stupid draft pick and a backup PF (who IS good, but hell, they already have an All-Star PF).

Hopefully GMs sign 2nd tier players and so on and so forth to REASONABLE contracts from now on out! No more 7 ft. C’s getting 10+ milli for being able to walk and chew gum at the same time (Hibbert/Jordan/every decent NBA C). No more Iggy’s or Gay’s getting over 12 mill a year.

That Grizz starting 5 had it all…wing defenders, post defenders, slashers, post up players, mid-range shooters, athletisism, a go-to guy or two. Now what?

Just thinking about Bargnani back on the court makes me laugh, it will be a fun train wreck to watch. One has to watch other train wrecks from time to time, I’m getting tired of watching the Lakers struggle …
